DC United added to the overall concept of the collection created by adidas to celebrate 25 years of the league. He does so, incidentally, with a shirt that pays tribute to the first kit in its history.

Specifically, the inspiration is the 1996 kit , with a black base, the three white Adidas strips and red details. A classic in the MLS shirt anthologies.
